College Graduates (Entry-Level)

Denman & Company takes pride in hiring and developing people with exceptional skills and talent. We believe that we offer a unique opportunity to entry-level accountants in that you are assigned to auditing and tax engagements during the first few years of employment, providing a great foundation for an accounting career. This allows for the opportunity to work with multiple clients, gaining increased exposure to various types of business operations as well as senior executives. You will be challenged to apply the concepts and principles learned through your college education.

Audit Assignments

Entry-level accountants are assigned to a client services team, which at a minimum includes a supervisory level staff accountant and the partner responsible for the engagement. Opportunities are provided for client contact and interaction. Our entry-level accountants are exposed to multiple types of entities and industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, healthcare facilities, nonprofits and governmental entities. The entry-level accountant’s responsibility is to analyze and verify specific accounts assigned and to identify, resolve and document any material issues.

Tax Assignments

Entry-level accountants work directly with a tax manager or partner. Assignments include tax preparation for almost every entity structure you can imagine from S and C corporations to partnerships, to high net wealth individuals and trusts and nonprofit corporations. Assignments might include light research in the area of taxation, including payroll and sales tax.

Our goal for the entry-level accountant is to provide rewarding and challenging assignments to promote rapid professional growth.
